If you are in San Francisco over the weekend:
The annual Love Parade (now called LovEvolution) is happening tomorow on Market Street in San Francisco. The parade heads up to the Civic Center where a large dance/music festival is held. A cool venue for those who are into dance music. Lots of DJs and many afterparties over the weekend.
Also this weekend is the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival to be held in Golden Gate Park. Lots of rock musicians and other entertainers.
